Kenwood TM-D710GA 50w VHF/UHF. We bought this radio for the APRS feature, thinking to buy another. Before we found one, we changed course and bought 2 Yaesu FTM-500D. I wish Yaesu provided external access to the modem like Kenwood. I really like the Kenwood, but we've had numerous Yaesu radios and we're more handy with Yaesu menus. Had we found another D710GA, we'd have stuck with the Kenwoods. Anyway, it's in good cosmetic and working condition. I had it on my desk for a couple months. I didn't get the Kenwood control-head to radio cable; I bought an aftermarket coiled 8 conductor cable that works fine. I think the Kenwood cable includes a choke; I've had no RFI problems with the no-choke cable. Original Manual looks new; Amateurs don't read manuals. Original box. RT-Systems Programming Software package includes programming cable, CD, & SN. No Return. KENWOOD NOTE: DTMF Decode and all features associated with it are currently unavailable for TM-D710GA serial number B8610001, and above. These units in the future will NO longer have DTMF decode capability, effecting Wireless Remote Control ONLY in cross-band operation. SN# B7A10033, is pre-change and not effected.
